After leaving the hospital twenty four hours after birth we considered ourselves fortunate. Holden had to get a blood test according to state law but after that we headed home. Holden has had many visitors who come bearing food, wine and a desire to see Holden.
Grandma Charlotte and Laila took Holden on a walk to the Navy Exchange today and saw many birds, iguanas and friends. Holden is already showing remarkable head strength and is a wiggle worm like his mother. I hope he has her athleticism. We play a lot of Christmas music which mother and son enjoy. Holden only really gets fussy when he desires mother's bosom. Here are some more pics.
